I began my career as a professional genealogy researcher in 2002 after spending several years researching my own family tree. My interest in genealogy piqued after learning of my great-grandfather's unsolved murder.
I believe in continuing education as a fundamental part of enhancing each of my clients' family history experience. With this in mind I earned with distinction, the Professional Learning Certificate in Genealogical Studies from the National Institute for Genealogical Studies.
Sara is a member of several genealogical organizations including:
* National Genealogical Society
* Ohio Genealogical Society
* Association of Professional Genealogists (APGEN)
Costs are based on hourly research fees and expenses, which are always extra.
All of our clients are offered a free initial consultation via email. This starts with a request for a summary of any previous family history work done or known information and the ultimate reseach goal. This information is then reviewed and a research plan is formed to reach their desired goal. Only after a client has agreed to the plan is a retainer then required to begin the actual research.
We work with you to realize your genealogy goals and keep the process affordable. Give us a try!
